Michael Barnett, MA, EdS, LPC is a licensed psychotherapist with over 30 years of clinical experience. Formerly based in Atlanta and now residing in Los Angeles, he is an ICEEFT-certified Supervisor and Trainer in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT), and the founder and director of the Atlanta Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy. Michael has taught EFT across the United States, facilitates all certification modules for EFT therapists and supervisors, and has integrated EFT into addiction treatment and leadership development settings. Known for his warmth, humor, and clinical depth, his work centers on couple therapy and training professionals who work with couples.
