Overview:
This workshop explores the resources clinicians need to guide families through relationship crises and traumatic loss.  This session illustrates the EFFT resources clinicians need in guiding families toward safety and stabilization.  Participants will identify the processes that promote family resilience and EFFT resources for restoring agency and hope.

Learning outcomes:

  • Apply the EFFT decision tree in guiding families through sudden loss. 
  • Identify resources associated with family stabilization and resilience.
  • Describe EFFT practices that promote and restore emotional balance from family distress.
