Overview:
Complex child and adolescent mental health concerns often require interdisciplinary collaboration. This workshop explores how EFFT can be integrated within psychiatric and multidisciplinary care to strengthen caregiver involvement, emotional safety, and treatment outcomes. Using a collaborative case example between an EFFT therapist and psychiatrist, participants will see how shared conceptualization deepens both stabilization and emotional repair. The focus is on how EFFT supports treatment adherence, co-regulation, and systemic healing.

Learning outcomes:

  • Describe EFFT principles relevant to psychiatric and multidisciplinary settings
  • Identify opportunities for coordinated treatment planning using EFFT
  • Apply strategies for fostering collaborative care that strengthens caregiver responsiveness
