Overview:
EFT’s universal attachment framework encounters unique cultural contexts in-session. This workshop explores how therapists can attune to cultural identities, communication styles, and values while maintaining secure bonding as the therapeutic goal. Participants will learn to recognize cultural injuries, adjust interventions for cultural fit, and reflect on their own cultural lens. The focus is on deepening responsiveness without losing the heart of EFT.

Learning outcomes:

  • Identify areas of cultural adaptation that support emotional safety
  • Reflect on personal cultural benchmarks and potential biases
  • Integrate culturally attuned interventions to support secure bonding
